1. Acceptance

These terms govern the use of blackspot.mx, the Black Spot Academy platform and the purchase of online courses (together, "the site"). By using the site you accept these terms and our privacy notice. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

  • Submit false information or someone else's information without their permission.
  • Try to access areas, accounts or data that do not belong to you, or affect the security or operation of the site.
  • Copy, scrape or automate the download of site content without permission.
  • Use the site to send unsolicited advertising or unlawful content.

4. Site information, cases and results

The information on the site is general and does not constitute advice for a particular case. The success stories and figures we publish are real and published with our clients' permission, but they do not guarantee that another company will get the same results: every business, market and budget is different.

5. Assessments, proposals and services

The free assessment creates no obligation to hire us. The quotes and proposals we send are informational and valid for the period stated in them. Black Spot services are governed by the contract or proposal signed with each client, which prevails over these terms on the matters it covers.

6. Black Spot Academy

Your account

To take courses you need an account with your email and a password. The account is personal: do not share it or give others access to your courses. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the activity on your account. If you believe someone else is using it, change it and let us know.

Sample lessons and free courses

With your account you can take the lessons marked as free in each course and the free courses, without a card.

Prices and payments

  • Prices are in Mexican pesos and include VAT.
  • You can pay by credit or debit card, or in cash at OXXO stores. Payments are processed by Stripe; Black Spot does not receive or store your card details.
  • With a card, access is activated as soon as the payment is confirmed.
  • With OXXO, you receive a voucher valid for 3 days. Access is activated when OXXO confirms the payment, usually the next day. If the voucher expires unpaid, the purchase is canceled and you can generate a new one.

Course access

Certificates

When you finish a course you may receive a Black Spot Academy certificate of participation. It is not an official degree or certification recognized by Mexico's Ministry of Public Education.

7. Intellectual property

The Black Spot, Apex OS, ActiveSpot and Black Spot Academy brands and other distinctive signs, as well as the texts, designs, videos, courses, downloadable materials and code of the site, belong to Black Spot or its licensors. Courses are for your personal use: copying, recording, reselling, publishing or sharing them without written permission is not allowed. Our clients' brands and logos are shown with their permission and belong to their owners.

The site may include third-party links or features (for example, WhatsApp, Stripe or video platforms). We do not control those services and their use is governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

9. Liability

We do our best to keep the site running continuously and securely, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance or causes beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, Black Spot will not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with its last updated date. Changes do not affect purchases already made.
